Matthew is responsible for the design and analysis of supplemental damping systems for bridges and high-rise buildings. He utilizes his depth of experience in structural analysis, including the Finite Element Method (FEM) and classical stress calculations, to design reliable and safe damping systems that meet our clients' performance requirements. Matthew also engages in internal technical development initiatives to further our team's understanding of damping solutions for cable-stayed bridges. His attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and commitment to achieving high quality results makes him a valuable member of the Motioneering design team.
